An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Racoviceanu in the 25th minute of play forced FC Moltisanti's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Dăscălescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Anton Rogozea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lucrețiu Dăscălescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Galesul FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Stroie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolae Vâlceanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Godeanu in the 35th minute of play forced Galesul FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Stroie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Nicolae Vâlceanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuel Stroie. The goal made the score 2-1. Galesul FC's Emanuel Stroie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Vâlceanu in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galesul FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Stroie came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Moltisanti's Andrei Ciorănescu. But to his dismay, Andrei Ciorănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Stelian Godeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Moltisanti's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelian Godeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Stroie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, FC Moltisanti's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Rogozea came free, but Lucrețiu Dăscălescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Racoviceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Racoviceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute Grigore Mazilu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Stroie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Andrei Ciorănescu made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Stroie. Galesul FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Rogozea in the 98th minute of play forced FC Moltisanti's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Dăscălescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Moltisanti had won after a very even match.
