The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavril Botescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, one of Cst:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cst. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matei Joldea got free with Gavril Botescu in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gavril Botescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Ene, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The Atletico Textila fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Atletico Textila's Vali Dichiseanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Cst's zone, Vali Dichiseanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Ecobici came out of the goal and Vali Dichiseanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes of play, Atletico Textila's Vali Dichiseanu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niculae Ecobici was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Atletico Textila's goalkeeper Gavril Botescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matei Joldea. If Marcel Goga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Cst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Oros to maneuver through the defense. After 35 minutes of play, Atletico Textila's Vali Dichiseanu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niculae Ecobici was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Doru Ciocârlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Textila's supporters rose to their feet, but Doru Ciocârlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Ecobici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 38 minutes, Tiberiu Nedelcea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Textila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiberiu Nedelcea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Vali Dichiseanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niculae Ecobici. Cst's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vali Dichiseanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vali Dichiseanu made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Cst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Minulescu to maneuver through the defense. Vali Dichiseanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Ecobici having to interfere. The supporters of Atletico Textila booed when Cst was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Mitescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vali Dichiseanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Cst fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Joldea in the 79th minute of play forced Atletico Textila's goalkeeper Gavril Botescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Atletico Textila could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cst throughout the match.
