In the 21st minute, Cristian Racoviceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mihnea Popete kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Eusebiu Micu made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Anton Rogozea sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute, Cristian Racoviceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mircea Orășan hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Victoria Floresti 1939's Eusebiu Micu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Rogozea in the 99th minute of play.
