Spectators: 7691 (Terracing: 5769, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) After some careless play in the BOCA SIR defense, Ovidiu Popete kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petre Bognar. The BOCA SIR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petre Bognar should have stopped the shot. Petre Bognar made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Ovidiu Popete sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Ovidiu Popete kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petre Bognar. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Irinel Cângea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Bratu in the 16th minute of play. With his leg Petre Bognar managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when FCC ICIM Arad's Ovidiu Popete fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd minute, Ciprian Bratu made a precise shot to the right of Irinel Cângea. FCC ICIM Arad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Petre Bognar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidiu Popete's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Irinel Cângea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Bratu in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Martin Alexandroae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Cângea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Emanuel Doroftei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irinel Cângea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Florin Măgherușan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Emanuel Doroftei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Cângea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Doroftei in the 40th minute of play forced FCC ICIM Arad's goalkeeper Irinel Cângea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciprian Bratu was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Martin Alexandroae tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Irinel Cângea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 54 played minutes, FCC ICIM Arad's Valer Câmpeanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Petre Bognar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FCC ICIM Arad reached it. Petre Bognar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Popete in the 55th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match Valer Câmpeanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petre Bognar skillfully saved the ball. Petre Bognar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Popete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidiu Popete in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petre Bognar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petre Bognar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidiu Popete in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of BOCA SIR booed when FCC ICIM Arad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandru Pavelescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silviu Velicu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Irinel Cângea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciprian Bratu went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Popete in the 92nd minute of play forced BOCA SIR's goalkeeper Petre Bognar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, BOCA SIR's Ciprian Bratu got a free kick in the 96th minute.
