Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vali Cicortaș made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Black Scorpions Colentina's Codrin Buzincu got a free kick in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mircea Jupân in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Șerban Onișoru saved Black Scorpions Colentina from getting behind. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when Black Scorpions Colentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Buzincu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Jupân to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Black Scorpions Colentina's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Jupân came free, but Șerban Onișoru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Black Scorpions Colentina's Șerban Onișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Phoenix in the 22nd minute of play. Șerban Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Mihăilescu in the 24th minute of play. If Vali Cicortaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute, Golo Phoenix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Șerban Onișoru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Mircea Jupân was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. In the 33rd minute, Mircea Jupân hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacian Ghițescu made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Nicodim Olteanu sent off a good shot on target. After 36 minutes of play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Felix Mihăilescu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Șerban Onișoru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Șerban Onișoru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Mihăilescu in the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Mihăilescu in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Șerban Onișoru saved Black Scorpions Colentina from getting behind.

Felix Mihăilescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Onișoru having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Vali Cicortaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Ghițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Astafei made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Mihăilescu. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Dacian Ghițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Cicortaș in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Black Scorpions Colentina's Vali Cicortaș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dacian Ghițescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 88th minute of the game Anton Baldovin made a throw-in which Marcu Manole played forward. In the 92nd minute, Virgil Jupân ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Șerban Onișoru was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The Black Scorpions Colentina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's performance. The match ended with a win for PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca.
