After having played for 2 minutes, Iustin Ştefănuţ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hartau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustin Ştefănuţ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jaanus Rink came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Victoria Floresti 1939 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaanus Rink couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Victoria Floresti 1939 booed when Hartau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Videanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Jaanus Rink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Codrin Tripon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Victoria Floresti 1939's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hartau the free kick. 16 minutes into the game, one of Victoria Floresti 1939:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Hartau. Virgil Lupu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eusebiu Micu. 1-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Jaanus Rink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sebastian Gherguț charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Gherguț the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Gherguț hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaanus Rink in the 29th minute of play forced Hartau's goalkeeper Marcel Lupea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Lupea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaanus Rink in the 31st minute of play. The throw-in from Sever Bobe in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Victoria Floresti 1939's Irinel Racoviță. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaanus Rink in the 36th minute of play forced Hartau's goalkeeper Marcel Lupea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, Hartau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Ştefănuţ to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Lupea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaanus Rink, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Codrin Tripon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Marcel Lupea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Iustin Ştefănuţ recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eusebiu Micu. Iustin Ştefănuţ showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iustin Ştefănuţ stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Victoria Floresti 1939's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Ştefănuţ came free, but Eusebiu Micu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Sever Bobe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Eusebiu Micu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 65 minutes, Ionică Bologa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Victoria Floresti 1939 and the Hartau players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Victoria Floresti 1939:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hartau:s goal. Eusebiu Micu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Ştefănuţ in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Hartau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Ilarie to maneuver through the defense. Jaanus Rink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jaanus Rink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Victoria Floresti 1939's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaanus Rink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Lupea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Gherguț hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Codrin Tripon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Lupea having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Ştefănuţ in the 94th minute of play forced Victoria Floresti 1939's goalkeeper Eusebiu Micu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaanus Rink got free with Marcel Lupea in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaanus Rink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Marcel Lupea made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hartau fans cheered their team off the field, for while Victoria Floresti 1939 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
