Eusebiu Micu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidiu Popete in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

But to his dismay, Jaanus Rink quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 64 minutes into the match, Victoria Floresti 1939's goalkeeper Eusebiu Micu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidiu Popete.
