Albotesti's Marian Curuțiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Bratu in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Emanuel Doroftei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to BOCA SIR getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Martin Alexandroae hit a great ball. After 13 minutes, Martin Alexandroae mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOCA SIR and the Albotesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BOCA SIR's Martin Alexandroae got a free kick in the 13th minute. Petre Bognar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Gurlui in the 16th minute of play. BOCA SIR were furious when Olimpiu Todoran was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BOCA SIR! Ernest Gurlui walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Martin Alexandroae scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Curuțiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Panait Pintea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petre Bognar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panait Pintea's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, BOCA SIR's goalkeeper Petre Bognar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panait Pintea. Panait Pintea succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 42nd playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

A hard shot by Panait Zăreanu from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Marian Curuțiu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 58 minutes into the match, BOCA SIR's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Pintea came free, but Petre Bognar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petre Bognar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Ecobici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of BOCA SIR booed when Albotesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Ciuvică didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Augustin Rareș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Albotesti's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Zăreanu came free, but Marian Curuțiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Alexandroae kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some careless play in the BOCA SIR defense, Manole Romoşan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petre Bognar. The BOCA SIR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petre Bognar should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Cosmin Ciuvică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, BOCA SIR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Răchitan to maneuver through the defense. Petre Bognar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Romoşan in the 79th minute of the match. Panait Zăreanu charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panait Zăreanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BOCA SIR's Panait Zăreanu got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 85 minutes of play, Albotesti's Panait Pintea made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petre Bognar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernest Gurlui scored 5-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petre Bognar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Panait Pintea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Albotesti had played much better football throughout.
