After 3 played minutes RTP 2021 got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Călinescu. After a rather tough play, Berindel's Paul Pădureanu got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to Berindel getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Paul Pădureanu hit a great ball. In the game's 6th minute RTP 2021's Ivan Oniga took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Radu Şchiopu and thus the score was 1-0. Boruc Pawlak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Nediu in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Berindel's Nichifor Todericiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boruc Pawlak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Nichifor Todericiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boruc Pawlak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Todericiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Berindel's zone, Albert Bourceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Şchiopu came out of the goal and Albert Bourceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Dragnea struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Radu Şchiopu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RTP 2021. In the 48th minute, Nichifor Todericiu made a precise shot to the right of Boruc Pawlak. RTP 2021's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionuț Ştati was the one to do the kick off. Boruc Pawlak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Ştati in the 60th minute of play. Boruc Pawlak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nichifor Todericiu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 63 minute of play. The supporters of RTP 2021 booed when Berindel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Ţeica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nichifor Todericiu succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. After 77 minutes, Dan Dragnea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RTP 2021 and the Berindel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, RTP 2021 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Dragnea to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 78th minute Berindel's Nichifor Todericiu took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Boruc Pawlak and thus the score was 1-6. Ionuț Ştati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radu Şchiopu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Cocea in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Pompiliu Frântu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boruc Pawlak. The goal made the score 1-7. Boruc Pawlak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionuț Ştati's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Berindel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RTP 2021.
