Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petruț Ţintea during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Calistrat Bordeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gică Cârnațiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionel Ghețea in the 15th minute. When Calistrat Bordeanu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Herla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calistrat Bordeanu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ciorobereni CS's Marcu Ionașcu got a free kick in the 20th minute. Eric Ştoia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Bordeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calistrat Bordeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Ştoia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Dumitru Șerbulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Ştoia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Cârnu in the 31st minute of play. After 34 played minutes Ciorobereni CS got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Șerbulescu. In the 36th minute Irinel Cârnu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Ştoia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gică Cârnațiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionel Ghețea in the 37th minute. Eric Ştoia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Bordeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calistrat Bordeanu scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Ştoia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 47 minutes, Sever Ispas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciorobereni CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sever Ispas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Ciorobereni CS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Herla were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sever Ispas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sever Ispas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liviu Lucaci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Mihăiţă Brezeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihăiţă Brezeanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Ştoia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihăiţă Brezeanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Mihăiţă Brezeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Ştoia having to interfere. Calistrat Bordeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Ciorobereni CS getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marcu Ionașcu hit a great ball. Herla were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Ciorobereni CS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cezar Adomniței took the corner. If Sever Ispas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Ştoia made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Irinel Cârnu sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 82 in the game by Irinel Cârnu from a close distance when the talented Eric Ştoia managed to make a qualified save. Ciorobereni CS's players were relieved. Calistrat Bordeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Ştoia having to interfere. Calistrat Bordeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Liviu Lucaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Ştoia having to interfere. When the match was over Herla could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ciorobereni CS throughout the match.
