After a defensive mix-up in Berindel's zone, Ivan Tulbure stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Şchiopu came out of the goal and Ivan Tulbure tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th match minute, Berindel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Boroș to maneuver through the defense. Radu Şchiopu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Moga in the 58th minute of the match. Ionuț Ştati could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Niculae Petriceanu made a huge save. 69 minutes into the game, Berindel's Nichifor Todericiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niculae Petriceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nichifor Todericiu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Berindel's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Smizi's Emanuel Buhuș got a free kick in the 77th minute. Niculae Petriceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Ştati, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Smizi's Niculae Petriceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Pădureanu in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Smizi's goalkeeper Niculae Petriceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dragoş Zdrăilă. Nichifor Todericiu in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Niculae Petriceanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Berindel's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
