Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Iliescu started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Herla got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Bocaneț. Ronaldinho Sanchez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calistrat Bordeanu in the 6th minute. Ronaldinho Sanchez made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Mihăiţă Brezeanu sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Liviu Lucaci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldinho Sanchez was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, DOROBANTII's Petre Băncilă got a free kick in the 17th minute. DOROBANTII's Ronaldinho Sanchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Brezeanu in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DOROBANTII's Mihai Cretan got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ronaldinho Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Bocaneț in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to DOROBANTII getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mircea Chirtoacă hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Herla were awarded a corner. Vasile Bocaneț went to the cornerflag to take it. Andrei Ivănescu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Irinel Cârnu in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ronaldinho Sanchez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 32nd minute, Calistrat Bordeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Nistor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gică Cârnațiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Herla:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of DOROBANTII:s goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Lucaci made a kick off. Manuel Iliescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Cârnațiu having to interfere. If Calistrat Bordeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Bordeanu struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ronaldinho Sanchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herla. In the 64th minute of the match, Manuel Iliescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gică Cârnațiu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mihăiţă Brezeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihăiţă Brezeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd match minute, DOROBANTII was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Vinciguerra to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Herla's Liviu Lucaci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldinho Sanchez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Petre Băncilă kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Herla lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
