Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Șerban Cioacă got the match started through his kick off. Cosmin Alexiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Radu Şchiopu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugur Logofeteanu came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Berindel's Paul Pădureanu. But to his dismay, Paul Pădureanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Berindel's Eusebiu Ţeica seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eusebiu Ţeica the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Berindel protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eusebiu Ţeica had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 26th match minute, Gimbas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Necula to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Horaţiu Neculuță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Gimbas's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Frântu came free, but Mugur Logofeteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Gimbas's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Ştati came free, but Mugur Logofeteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Berindel's Ionuț Ştati ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mugur Logofeteanu. Mugur Logofeteanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Gimbas's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Ştati came free, but Mugur Logofeteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Berindel's Ionuț Ştati ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mugur Logofeteanu. Mugur Logofeteanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, Gimbas's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Ştati came free, but Mugur Logofeteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionuț Ştati was the one to do the kick off. If Ionuț Ştati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Ionuț Ştati had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mugur Logofeteanu. Gimbas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionuț Ştati was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Mugur Logofeteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Ştati in the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pompiliu Frântu in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mugur Logofeteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ionuț Ştati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Mugur Logofeteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Berindel's Tudor Păvăloae got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Cosmin Alexiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Şchiopu having to interfere. If Ionuț Ştati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Paul Pădureanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berindel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Radu Şchiopu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Dăianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Paul Pădureanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Logofeteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Berindel's Pompiliu Frântu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mugur Logofeteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Pădureanu in the 88th minute of play forced Gimbas's goalkeeper Mugur Logofeteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gimbas getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Mihail Băsescu hit a great ball. Berindel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gimbas the free kick. After 94 played minutes Berindel got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Ştati. 96 minutes into the match, Gimbas's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Frântu came free, but Mugur Logofeteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Berindel fully deserved thier win.
