Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iordache Coșereanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Oltul Slatina's John Lustig got a free kick in the 6th minute. Paul Simionescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 程烨瑜 in the 8th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Maniu got free with Manuel Lovinescu in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dragoş Arnăuțescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, CLUB GALATI's goal looked a bit too open when 程烨瑜 came free, but Paul Simionescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Oltul Slatina's Gaudencio Ubarna in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Nechifor Dordea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaudencio Ubarna was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaudencio Ubarna got free with Paul Simionescu in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute Gaudencio Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Simionescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iordache Coșereanu in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Lovinescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Simionescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 程烨瑜, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 69 minutes, Ilie Leahu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Oltul Slatina and the CLUB GALATI players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, FC Oltul Slatina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Leahu to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, CLUB GALATI's Paul Simionescu got control of the ball when Gaudencio Ubarna tried to sneak it across the goal line. 程烨瑜 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. FC Oltul Slatina's Dorin Datcu was substituted for Gelu Coman. 80 minutes into the match, CLUB GALATI's goal looked a bit too open when 程烨瑜 came free, but Paul Simionescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorin Datcu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. CLUB GALATI's Eelco Nieuwburg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Oltul Slatina. When Gaudencio Ubarna fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Oltul Slatina's protests and gave Gaudencio Ubarna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, FC Oltul Slatina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Ubarna to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
