When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eelco Nieuwburg made a kick off. After a rather tough play, CLUB GALATI's Gigi Alucusan got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Korneliusz Barna in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Simionescu saved CLUB GALATI from getting behind. Paul Simionescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Korneliusz Barna in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Korneliusz Barna got free with Paul Simionescu in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CLUB GALATI had won after a very even match.
