Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cristian Ploieșteanu made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Doru Dănănae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steaua Bucuresti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cacarau AC's Dito Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ploieșteanu in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Florín Răducioiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cacarau AC's Cristi Ivașcu got a free kick in the 14th minute. Cristian Ploieșteanu struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Dito Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua Bucuresti. In the 16th minute Cristian Ploieșteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dito Lopez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Ploieșteanu went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the match, Cristian Ploieșteanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dito Lopez. Cacarau AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Ploieșteanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Dito Lopez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Ploieșteanu went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 28thth minute of the game Cristian Ploieșteanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacarau AC's Dito Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 28 played minutes Cacarau AC got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Grindeanu. Doru Dănănae took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dito Lopez. Dito Lopez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Ploieșteanu in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dito Lopez saved Cacarau AC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florín Răducioiu in the 41st minute of play forced Cacarau AC's goalkeeper Dito Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dito Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florín Răducioiu in the 42nd minute of the match. Dito Lopez came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Steaua Bucuresti's Doru Dănănae. But to his dismay, Doru Dănănae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. After the first half Steaua Bucuresti were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Djalma Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Dito Lopez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Ploieșteanu in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Ploieșteanu in the 58th minute of play forced Cacarau AC's goalkeeper Dito Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Steaua Bucuresti's Doru Dănănae ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dito Lopez. Dito Lopez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. In the 62nd minute, Steaua Bucuresti's Remus Dudea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. 67 minutes into the game, Steaua Bucuresti's Cristian Ploieșteanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dito Lopez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. Cacarau AC's Dito Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Cacarau AC from getting a goal against them. Steaua Bucuresti's Roel Meertens pulled a muscle in his back after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tadeusz Skikiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeusz Skikiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Cacarau AC got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Skikiewicz. In the 72nd minute, Cacarau AC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Ploieșteanu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bertil Norström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Dito Lopez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cacarau AC's Dito Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Norström in the 84th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Florín Răducioiu rounded Cacarau AC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-14. In the 92ndth minute of the game Florín Răducioiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacarau AC's Dito Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Bertil Norström made a precise shot to the right of Dito Lopez. Cacarau AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-16. When the final whistle sounded Steaua Bucuresti left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cacarau AC.
