Sabin Panciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xerxes Doro during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Xerxes Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes MZ Rapid got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Gugulanu. 11 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Filip Negulici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciprian Uncescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MZ Rapid! Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Sabin Panciu got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Sabin Panciu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MZ Rapid's Ciprian Uncescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 minutes, Aurel Bercea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MZ Rapid and the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurel Bercea kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Sabin Panciu got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Sabin Panciu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Sabin Panciu might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciprian Uncescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sabin Panciu ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrei Bologan hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Sabin Panciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Uncescu having to interfere. Sabin Panciu scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciprian Uncescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xerxes Doro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The audience was convinced that Sabin Panciu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciprian Uncescu was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. MZ Rapid's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Wagner Doro scored to the left of an out of position Ciprian Uncescu, making the score, 0-5. With a little luck, MZ Rapid's Ciprian Uncescu got control of the ball when Sabin Panciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciprian Uncescu came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Sabin Panciu. But to his dismay, Sabin Panciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 68th minute, Sabin Panciu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciprian Uncescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After 73 played minutes MZ Rapid got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Eftimescu. With an all-out effort, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ciprian Uncescu threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sabin Panciu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sabin Panciu struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ciprian Uncescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batalionul U23 Dorobanti. Ciprian Uncescu came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Sabin Panciu. But to his dismay, Sabin Panciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 82 minutes into the match, MZ Rapid's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Panciu came free, but Ciprian Uncescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiberiu Zgârcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ciprian Uncescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MZ Rapid's Grigore Eftimescu got a free kick in the 89th minute. 90 minutes in the game, Sabin Panciu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ciprian Uncescu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Sabin Panciu sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, MZ Rapid's Ciprian Uncescu got control of the ball when Sabin Panciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, MZ Rapid's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Panciu came free, but Ciprian Uncescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Grigore Eftimescu fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Rapid's protests and gave Grigore Eftimescu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when MZ Rapid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Eftimescu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
