Ivan Aanicăi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fulgerul Braila's Eusebiu Barbă shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 13 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Barbă came free, but Ivan Aanicăi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Fulgerul Braila were awarded a corner. Eloy Senio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Fulgerul Braila's Eloy Senio to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivan Aanicăi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 15th minute, Fulgerul Braila's Sergiu Găină dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergiu Găină got free with Ivan Aanicăi in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19thth minute of the game Nichifor Aelenei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fulgerul Braila's Aristide Gliga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aristide Gliga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nichifor Aelenei's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Cristinel Tomozei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Aanicăi made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Silviu Murgescu sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Nichifor Aelenei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristide Gliga was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nichifor Aelenei in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristide Gliga saved Fulgerul Braila from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Nichifor Aelenei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristide Gliga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nichifor Aelenei's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nichifor Aelenei made a kick off. Aristide Gliga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nichifor Aelenei in the 51st minute. Ivan Aanicăi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergiu Găină's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Fulgerul Braila getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Matei Bulgar hit a great ball. Raureni Academy's Nichifor Aelenei was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 54th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fulgerul Braila's Aristide Gliga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Fulgerul Braila from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristinel Tomozei got free with Aristide Gliga in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristinel Tomozei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Silviu Murgescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Aanicăi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgerul Braila's Aristide Gliga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Manciulea in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nichifor Aelenei in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristide Gliga saved Fulgerul Braila from getting behind. Aristide Gliga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nichifor Aelenei's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Ivan Aanicăi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Găină in the 69th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Fulgerul Braila's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Aelenei came free, but Aristide Gliga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristide Gliga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Fulgerul Braila's goalkeeper Aristide Gliga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nichifor Aelenei. For all the effort they put into the match, the Raureni Academy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fulgerul Braila.
