Emilio Miconi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Emilio Miconi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristiyan Gradinarov went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the game, FC BOTOSANI - BTF.'s Waclaw Smolak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Miconi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waclaw Smolak in the 95th minute of play forced BANAT VIOLA's goalkeeper Emilio Miconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
