A collision led to Pufesti FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Olcay Batır hit a great ball. Johny Peers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Andrițoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Raureni Academy's Nichifor Aelenei in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Eusebiu Coșereanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nichifor Aelenei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nichifor Aelenei kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nistor Alupulesei made the kick off in the second half. Cornel Manciulea was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Raureni Academy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Pufesti FC's Nistor Alupulesei in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Raureni Academy's goalie prevented a goal. 56 minutes into the match, Nichifor Aelenei notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pufesti FC's Johny Peers. Johny Peers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60thth minute of the game Nistor Alupulesei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raureni Academy's Ivan Aanicăi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 minutes, Nistor Alupulesei made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Raureni Academy's Ivan Aanicăi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Raureni Academy's Ivan Aanicăi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Coșereanu in the 65th minute of play. Eusebiu Coșereanu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Olcay Batır was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pufesti FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raureni Academy the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pufesti FC's Olcay Batır got a free kick in the 71st minute. Nichifor Aelenei succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 72nd playminute. Nichifor Aelenei received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Johny Peers came out and tried to block the shot, but Nichifor Aelenei slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Ionel Hurezan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pufesti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Hurezan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Aanicăi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the game, Raureni Academy's Cristinel Tomozei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johny Peers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Nichifor Aelenei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Johny Peers made a huge save. In the 88th minute Nistor Alupulesei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Aanicăi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Pufesti FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Ştirbu. Nichifor Aelenei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Pufesti FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Raureni Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
