The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nistor Alupulesei was the one to do the kick off. David Turlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Giurcă in the 51st minute of play. Johny Peers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Stan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 55 played minutes, Zimnicea's Petru Furdui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johny Peers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zimnicea reached it. After 57 played minutes Zimnicea got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Cobâlcescu. Eusebiu Coșereanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but David Turlea made a huge save. Johny Peers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Unchiaşu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Martin Chiru took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johny Peers. Johny Peers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Johny Peers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodor Unchiaşu went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the game, Teodor Unchiaşu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Johny Peers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zimnicea's David Turlea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Zimnicea from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Pufesti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Unchiaşu came free, but Johny Peers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
