The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 汪兴升 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Unchiaşu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 魏瑜希 struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. David Turlea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Ştefan Cobâlcescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Zimnicea's goalkeeper David Turlea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Bădila. Petru Furdui made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Iosif Armeanca however managed to control. After taking down the ball on Locomotiva Adjud's corner 魏瑜希 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Turlea quite easily take care of the ball. 汪兴升 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Unchiaşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35thth minute of the game Adam Bădila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zimnicea's David Turlea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39 minutes Zimnicea's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 魏瑜希 who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Locomotiva Adjud's corner 魏瑜希 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Turlea quite easily take care of the ball. Zimnicea's David Turlea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Zimnicea from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Chiru in the 43rd minute of play forced Locomotiva Adjud's goalkeeper 汪兴升 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Bădila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodor Unchiaşu was the one to do the kick off. 汪兴升 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Unchiaşu in the 55th minute of play. Mugur Stan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 汪兴升 having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Adam Bădila put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of David Turlea. David Turlea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Bădila's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Adam Bădila might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Turlea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Bădila ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Bădila in the 67th minute of play forced Zimnicea's goalkeeper David Turlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Zimnicea booed when Locomotiva Adjud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Cornea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Locomotiva Adjud's Dorin Urderean was substituted for Cazimir Penescu. Ciprian Cornea hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. David Turlea came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Locomotiva Adjud's Adam Bădila. But to his dismay, Adam Bădila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. David Turlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Bădila in the 75th minute of the match. Locomotiva Adjud's Valer Martin was substituted for Adam Bădila. A sloppy throw-in by Iosif Armeanca in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Locomotiva Adjud's Ioan Cristache. After 79 played minutes Locomotiva Adjud got a freekick which was hit by Ciprian Cornea. The audience was convinced that Teodor Unchiaşu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 汪兴升 was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Ioan Bucur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. 汪兴升 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Valer Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Turlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Valer Martin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Turlea. Zimnicea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valer Martin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 91st match minute, Zimnicea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Furdui to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Locomotiva Adjud fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zimnicea had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
