Spectators: 7948 (Terracing: 5962, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) 4 minutes into the match, UFC Tariverde's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Murgescu came free, but Aristide Vlaicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Ivar Olsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Sergiu Găină cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aristide Vlaicu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute, Mihăiţă Bognar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th match minute, UFC Tariverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Uzuneanu to maneuver through the defense. Marius Milea kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Eusebiu Barbă sped through UFC Tariverde's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aristide Vlaicu. After 24 minutes, Ivar Olsson made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. UFC Tariverde's Aristide Vlaicu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aristide Vlaicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Barbă, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Aristide Vlaicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Găină in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Eusebiu Barbă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Vlaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristide Vlaicu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivar Olsson went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Ivar Olsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristide Vlaicu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Mardarie made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Ivar Olsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fulgerul Braila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After 54 played minutes Fulgerul Braila got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Murgescu. Ştefan Măcrineanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Aristide Vlaicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Martin Mardarie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Sergiu Găină left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fulgerul Braila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. 79 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Barbă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristide Vlaicu. UFC Tariverde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebiu Barbă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. In the 88th minute Ştefan Măcrineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Vlaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristide Vlaicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Găină, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Fulgerul Braila's Eusebiu Barbă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. The UFC Tariverde fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fulgerul Braila were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
