When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Hănescu made a kick off. The Pufesti FC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Pufesti FC's Nistor Alupulesei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eliodor Ştirbu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Viorel Giurcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Miconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Viorel Giurcă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Miconi was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Isac Răduț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to BANAT VIOLA getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Iustinian Negulici hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the game, BANAT VIOLA's Emilian Comăneci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johny Peers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pufesti FC were victorious despite being under pressure from BANAT VIOLA for much of the match.
