Aristide Gliga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute, Fulgerul Braila's Ştefan Măcrineanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ivar Olsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Fulgerul Braila's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. UFC Tariverde's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Ivar Olsson scored to the left of an out of position Aristide Vlaicu, making the score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Găină in the 23rd minute of play forced UFC Tariverde's goalkeeper Aristide Vlaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Eusebiu Barbă took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Aristide Vlaicu to make any attempt to save it. Aristide Vlaicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Măcrineanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristide Vlaicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Măcrineanu in the 37th minute of the match. Sergiu Găină could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Aristide Vlaicu made a huge save. In the 40th minute Ivar Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Vlaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Brănet's late challenge caught a Fulgerul Braila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dumitru Brănet helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fulgerul Braila booed when UFC Tariverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Brănet didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, UFC Tariverde's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Olsson came free, but Aristide Vlaicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergiu Găină sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristide Vlaicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Olsson in the 46th minute of play. Eloy Senio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Aristide Vlaicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivar Olsson made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Sergiu Găină left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fulgerul Braila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 64th minute, Eusebiu Barbă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristide Vlaicu was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Barbă in the 68th minute of play forced UFC Tariverde's goalkeeper Aristide Vlaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Fulgerul Braila's Eusebiu Barbă made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristide Vlaicu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Ivar Olsson notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of UFC Tariverde's Aristide Vlaicu. Aristide Vlaicu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fulgerul Braila's Ilie Enache was substituted for Ivar Olsson. In the 83rd minute, Ilie Enache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristide Vlaicu was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. UFC Tariverde's Aristide Vlaicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Enache in the 87th minute of play. Aristide Vlaicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Găină in the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, UFC Tariverde's Francisc Prezan got a free kick in the 89th minute. Francisc Prezan hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Aristide Vlaicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Enache in the 93rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard Encuțoiu got free with Aristide Gliga in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Fulgerul Braila getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Remus Gârdescu hit a great ball.
