STEAUA BUCURESTI's goalkeeper Eugen Curtean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C. Maksymilian Traczewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, F.C. STEAUA BUCURESTI's goalkeeper Eugen Curtean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Vilar. A collision led to FC Milano getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Iustinian Zgrăbunţa hit a great ball. Eugen Curtean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiko Ettur in the 34th minute of play. F.C. STEAUA BUCURESTI's Eugen Curtean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. STEAUA BUCURESTI from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maksymilian Traczewski in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Silvian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norberto Vilar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugen Curtean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Gigel Roşoga charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gigel Roşoga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Gigel Roşoga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 55th match minute, F.C. STEAUA BUCURESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Ganea to maneuver through the defense. Basarab Vulturar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugen Curtean. F.C. STEAUA BUCURESTI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Heiko Ettur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. STEAUA BUCURESTI's Eugen Curtean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 minutes of play, FC Milano's Wesly Helssen made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugen Curtean was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 minutes, Heiko Ettur made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. F.C. STEAUA BUCURESTI's Eugen Curtean tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Heiko Ettur struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Eugen Curtean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Milano. Corneliu Cioacă hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Vilar in the 75th minute of play forced F.C. STEAUA BUCURESTI's goalkeeper Eugen Curtean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Norberto Vilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wesly Helssen might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugen Curtean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wesly Helssen ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FC Milano's Anton Silvian got control of the ball when Maksymilian Traczewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Heiko Ettur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Eugen Curtean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. STEAUA BUCURESTI's zone, Heiko Ettur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Curtean came out of the goal and Heiko Ettur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Emanuel Mascovescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Curtean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Heiko Ettur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Milano's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
