Miercani's Marian Tinu got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horia Zăreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Anton Silvian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grigore Constantin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Heiko Ettur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 13th minute, Adam Buciuceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Silvian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Tinu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miercani's Iosif Pacuraru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anton Silvian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ion Oniga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiko Ettur in the 19th minute of play forced Miercani's goalkeeper Grigore Constantin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes, Heiko Ettur made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Miercani's Grigore Constantin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Narcis Timofte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Silvian having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Miercani got a freekick which was hit by Albert Marioteanu. Anton Silvian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Tinu in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Tinu in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Silvian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dan Gherase hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Iosif Pacuraru came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Miercani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Pacuraru couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ion Oniga made the kick off in the second half. Wesly Helssen kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ion Oniga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Anton Silvian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Ion Oniga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Silvian was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Norberto Vilar kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. FC Milano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Basarab Vulturar in the 74th minute. The corner led FC Milano's Dan Gherase to fire away a dangerous shot which Grigore Constantin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Marian Tinu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miercani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Tinu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Miercani's goal looked a bit too open when Heiko Ettur came free, but Grigore Constantin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ion Oniga struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Anton Silvian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miercani. 87 minutes into the game, Marian Tinu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Anton Silvian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grigore Constantin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesly Helssen, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Heiko Ettur hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Ion Oniga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
