Grigore Constantin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Muntian in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Zăreanu in the 22nd minute of play forced Biraoni's goalkeeper Mircea Mitulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miercani's Horia Zăreanu suffered a concussion in the 42nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Tiberiu Muntian kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Nichifor Abutnăriței recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ion Oniga to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Biraoni's Mircea Mitulescu got control of the ball when Marian Tinu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ion Oniga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Mitulescu having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Biraoni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Muntian to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Biraoni's goalkeeper Mircea Mitulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nichifor Abutnăriței. With a little luck, Biraoni's Mircea Mitulescu got control of the ball when Nichifor Abutnăriței tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nichifor Abutnăriței struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Mircea Mitulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miercani. Nichifor Abutnăriței could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Mircea Mitulescu made a huge save. Mircea Mitulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nichifor Abutnăriței in the 67th minute. Biraoni's Mircea Mitulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Biraoni from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Zachary Parajewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Miercani players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
