Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wesly Helssen started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Leite in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Silvian saved FC Milano from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesly Helssen in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Mitulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute FC Milano were awarded a corner. Basarab Vulturar went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Milano's corner Basarab Vulturar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mircea Mitulescu quite easily take care of the ball. AFC Napoca's Mircea Mitulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesly Helssen in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th minute Wesly Helssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Mitulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Silvian was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, AFC Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Wesly Helssen came free, but Mircea Mitulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Basarab Vulturar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mircea Mitulescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Reynaldo Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute of the match, Tiberiu Muntian got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anton Silvian was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Napoca's zone, Wesly Helssen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mircea Mitulescu came out of the goal and Wesly Helssen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wesly Helssen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mircea Mitulescu having to make a save. Mircea Mitulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiko Ettur in the 31st minute of the match. Mircea Mitulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Râmniceanu in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of AFC Napoca booed when FC Milano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihajlo Vukojević didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorel Râmniceanu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radu Enache to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorel Râmniceanu got free with Mircea Mitulescu in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the AFC Napoca defense, Emanuel Mascovescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mircea Mitulescu. The AFC Napoca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mircea Mitulescu should have stopped the shot. Mircea Mitulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiko Ettur in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Emanuel Mascovescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Mircea Mitulescu however easily saved by the left post. 69 minutes into the match, AFC Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Heiko Ettur came free, but Mircea Mitulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Dorel Râmniceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AFC Napoca's Mugur Postolache was substituted for Martin Pătrășconiu. Anton Silvian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. AFC Napoca's Tudor Amuguroancei was substituted for Mădălin Ţurlău. The throw-in from Basarab Vulturar in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC Napoca's Tiberiu Muntian. Dorel Râmniceanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Mircea Mitulescu made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, FC Milano's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Enache came free, but Anton Silvian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mircea Mitulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiko Ettur, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Milano's zone, Radu Enache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Silvian came out of the goal and Radu Enache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Tiberiu Muntian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
