The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Mirciulescu in the 2nd minute of play forced Huracan United -MM-'s goalkeeper Fedele Bardella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fedele Bardella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Târcă in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute FC.Ripensia-Timisoara were awarded a corner. Iurie Poplăcean went to the cornerflag to take it. Mihnea Ianculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from CJ Zidane in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Dragoş Grădinaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Ianculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Wayne Rooney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mihnea Ianculescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Mihnea Ianculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Zidane in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Dragoş Grădinaru made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Mihnea Ianculescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Victor Târcă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fedele Bardella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihnea Ianculescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from CJ Zidane went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Zidane came free, but Mihnea Ianculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, CJ Zidane notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Mihnea Ianculescu. Mihnea Ianculescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dragoş Grădinaru in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihnea Ianculescu saved FC.Ripensia-Timisoara from getting behind. Mihnea Ianculescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wayne Rooney went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Wayne Rooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Ianculescu having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, CJ Zidane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihnea Ianculescu. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that CJ Zidane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dragoş Grădinaru in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihnea Ianculescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dinu Herescu to make the kick off. Mihnea Ianculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wayne Rooney, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Mihnea Ianculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Grădinaru in the 52nd minute of the match. Victor Târcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragoş Grădinaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihnea Ianculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Rooney in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iraklis Pistolelis was slow to take the kick. During this time Huracan United -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. Mihnea Ianculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Zidane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlisle Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Ianculescu having to interfere. Mihnea Ianculescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dragoş Grădinaru in the 67th minute. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Mihnea Ianculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Zidane in the 75th minute of play. Victor Bocu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Victor Bocu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huracan United -MM-'s Fedele Bardella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Bocu in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match FC.Ripensia-Timisoara got a corner. Huracan United -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iurie Poplăcean ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Huracan United -MM-'s goalie and right to Aron Mirciulescu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Huracan United -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 92nd minute, Huracan United -MM-'s Wayne Rooney dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristide Doicaru in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihnea Ianculescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC.Ripensia-Timisoara fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Huracan United -MM- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
