Mihnea Ianculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Horea in the 36th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octav Horea was the one to do the kick off. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mihnea Ianculescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aristide Calini kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gelu Lera got free with Mihnea Ianculescu in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Mihnea Ianculescu got control of the ball when Octav Horea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basarab Hobjilă's late challenge caught a Thracian F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basarab Hobjilă helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Basarab Hobjilă got a free kick in the 90th minute. Mihnea Ianculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Horea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thracian F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olof Lind in the 92nd minute. Victor Tache was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Thracian F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
