With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baba Novac in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Argina saved Campina from getting behind. Augustin Ceaușescu's late challenge caught a Inter Canesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augustin Ceaușescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Gigi Medeleanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Canesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Baba Novac ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Argina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Baba Novac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Evaristo Argina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Argina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baba Novac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes Campina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucian Florescu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Lucian Florescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evaristo Argina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Evaristo Argina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Eufemio in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes of play Campina's Augustin Ceaușescu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 39th minute, Baba Novac left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Canesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 47 minutes of play, Inter Canesti's Baba Novac made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Argina was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baba Novac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Bidulescu in the 54th minute of play forced Inter Canesti's goalkeeper Hugo Pååk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Eufemio got free with Evaristo Argina in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Vintilă Bidulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the match, Ramon Eufemio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Argina. Campina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Eufemio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 68th minute, Ramon Eufemio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Argina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Lucian Florescu scored 0-7 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Argina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Campina's Evaristo Argina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Aldulea in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Aldulea in the 85th minute of play forced Campina's goalkeeper Evaristo Argina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter Canesti's Mădălin Răducu was substituted for Ramon Eufemio. Inter Canesti's Andrei Romanescu was substituted for Toader Brad. Evaristo Argina stood somewhat misplaced when Mădălin Răducu came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 91 minute. After 96 minutes of play, Inter Canesti's Mădălin Răducu made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Argina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inter Canesti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
