Humberto Eliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Ichim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Signori in the 15th minute of play forced FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s goalkeeper Humberto Eliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that 石克枫's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calle Arensberg was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Calle Arensberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 石克枫's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Mihail Călimanescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Eliu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Calle Arensberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 石克枫 in the 44th minute of play. After 47 played minutes FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Răduțu. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giuseppe Signori to make the kick off. If 石克枫 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 played minutes ABR RAHOVA got a freekick which was hit by Galen Man. The long shot by Nalo Bermejo in the 68th minute really tested Calle Arensberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 71stth minute of the game 石克枫 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ABR RAHOVA's Calle Arensberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Mihail Călimanescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ABR RAHOVA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM- the free kick. After a rather tough play, ABR RAHOVA's Mihail Călimanescu got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 76th match minute, ABR RAHOVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Mareș to maneuver through the defense. FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s 石克枫 got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 石克枫 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Calle Arensberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ABR RAHOVA's Filip Păun was substituted for Marian Mareș. Niculae Ichim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, ABR RAHOVA's Calle Arensberg got control of the ball when Nalo Bermejo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calle Arensberg made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Nalo Bermejo sent off a good shot on target. Niculae Ichim kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The long shot by Dorinel Munteanu in the 94th minute really tested Calle Arensberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
