The Sharks Constanta's Damian Oneț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Culiță in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Hârlău in the 24th minute of play forced Fc Universitatea Cluj's goalkeeper Constantin Dobrica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alin Culiță made a kick off. Eliodor Onuț hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Călin Calini couldn't finish the play. After 88 minutes, Vasile Peter made it 10-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fc Universitatea Cluj's Constantin Dobrica tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrei Sorin kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The Sharks Constanta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
