Spectators: 7886 (Terracing: 5915, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 157) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Niculae Ichim started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Filip Păun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ABR RAHOVA and the Academy 01 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes ABR RAHOVA got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Ichim. In the 17th match minute, ABR RAHOVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Călimanescu to maneuver through the defense. Calle Arensberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florin Urseanu in the 18th minute. A collision led to ABR RAHOVA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Filip Păun hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florin Urseanu in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calle Arensberg saved ABR RAHOVA from getting behind. After 24 minutes, Felix Tănase mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ABR RAHOVA and the Academy 01 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Academy 01 booed when ABR RAHOVA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Tănase didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Florin Urseanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calle Arensberg. ABR RAHOVA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florin Urseanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Calle Arensberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Urseanu in the 34th minute of play. Grigore Fărcașu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Calle Arensberg made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florin Urseanu to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Florin Urseanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Calle Arensberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the match, Academy 01's goalkeeper Filip Râznicu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niculae Ichim. Daniel Jumancă hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Niculae Ichim got free in front of the goal in the 60th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Filip Râznicu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Niculae Ichim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filip Râznicu was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The supporters of ABR RAHOVA booed when Academy 01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Coșmeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grigore Fărcașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Arensberg having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florin Urseanu in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calle Arensberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calle Arensberg came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Academy 01's Florin Urseanu. But to his dismay, Florin Urseanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 77thth minute of the game Florin Urseanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ABR RAHOVA's Calle Arensberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Academy 01's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Păun came free, but Filip Râznicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes, Codrin Coșmeanu made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. ABR RAHOVA's Calle Arensberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Florin Urseanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academy 01's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Urseanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calle Arensberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filip Râznicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Ichim in the 93rd minute of the match. Academy 01's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
