The supporters of Tottenham de ROMANIA booed when Inter Canesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Busuioceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Inter Canesti's Remus Miclea got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes, Mugur Busuioceanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Canesti and the Tottenham de ROMANIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mugur Busuioceanu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Hugo Pååk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermanno Zoccali in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Inter Canesti's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Mănescu came free, but Hugo Pååk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Guerra in the 27th minute of play forced Inter Canesti's goalkeeper Hugo Pååk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter Canesti's Hugo Pååk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauno Joensuu in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Guerra in the 30th minute of play forced Inter Canesti's goalkeeper Hugo Pååk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Lipoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Mandache in the 33rd minute of play. Tottenham de ROMANIA's Emil Lipoveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Răducu in the 35th minute of play. In the 41st minute Petrică Iurea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Pååk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandu Mandache in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Lipoveanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 48 minutes into the match, Kauno Joensuu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Inter Canesti's Hugo Pååk. Hugo Pååk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandu Mandache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Emanuel Pancu made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Pååk. Inter Canesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 58th match minute, Tottenham de ROMANIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Cosoreanu to maneuver through the defense. Emil Lipoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Răducu in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Guerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Pååk. Inter Canesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonçalo Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 76th minute, Emanuel Pancu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Guerra notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Inter Canesti's Hugo Pååk. Hugo Pååk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Kauno Joensuu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Pååk was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Gonçalo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Pååk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Guerra in the 96th minute of play forced Inter Canesti's goalkeeper Hugo Pååk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Pååk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauno Joensuu in the 97th minute of play. Tottenham de ROMANIA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
