Florian Schmeisser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Oneț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Florean's late challenge caught a FC Strug Iaslovat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Florean helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fan PC Servicii's Daniel Florean got a free kick in the 21st minute. The supporters of Fan PC Servicii booed when FC Strug Iaslovat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fan PC Servicii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Oneț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Edgar Oneț sped through FC Strug Iaslovat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florian Schmeisser. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Oneț was the one to do the kick off. Fan PC Servicii's Dinu Medrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Spânu in the 63rd minute of play. Edgar Oneț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Florian Schmeisser made a huge save. After 80 played minutes FC Strug Iaslovat got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Angheloiu. When Edgar Oneț came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Fan PC Servicii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Oneț couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fan PC Servicii walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
