The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Leandro Damião made a precise shot to the right of Mihai Comarnescu. Mihai Comarnescu came out of the goal and Leandro Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucian Baldovinescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Mihai Comarnescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eusebiu Humă's late challenge caught a Universitatea cluj's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebiu Humă helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UFC CHRASOAL getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. In the 17th minute, Leandro Damião made a precise shot to the right of Mihai Comarnescu. UFC CHRASOAL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Cristi Bădila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mihai Comarnescu made a huge save. With his leg Mihai Comarnescu managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Universitatea cluj's Cristi Bădila fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emil Kociniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Ilica in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lucian Baldovinescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihai Comarnescu was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Mihai Comarnescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andrei Chilian kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Universitatea cluj's Thibaud Vranckx was substituted for Cristi Bădila. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ionică Ilica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucian Baldovinescu in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihai Comarnescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cezar Ceaușescu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Lucian Baldovinescu took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihai Comarnescu. Mihai Comarnescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Lucian Baldovinescu put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mihai Comarnescu. Mihai Comarnescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Baldovinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Lucian Baldovinescu put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mihai Comarnescu. In the 70th minute, 程泉延 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihai Comarnescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thibaud Vranckx's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 74th match minute, UFC CHRASOAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Humă to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Lucian Baldovinescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Mihai Comarnescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihai Comarnescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the UFC CHRASOAL defense, Octavian Văcărescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihai Comarnescu. The UFC CHRASOAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihai Comarnescu should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute, Leandro Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihai Comarnescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Moise Buzoianu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, UFC CHRASOAL's goal looked a bit too open when Thibaud Vranckx came free, but Mihai Comarnescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Universitatea cluj players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
