Mano Doro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Oprescu's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the F.C BUCURESTI defense, João Gaúcho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mano Doro. The F.C BUCURESTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mano Doro should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gheorghe Mălin got free with Daniel Jienescu in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of GoalHunters booed when F.C BUCURESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Cantemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mano Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Oprescu in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, GoalHunters's Pedro Jerrold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 39 played minutes GoalHunters got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Croitoru. A collision led to F.C BUCURESTI getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Maríus Niculae hit a great ball. Mano Doro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Oprescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C BUCURESTI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Joldea was slow to take the kick. During this time GoalHunters's players had a chance to rest. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Denis Oprescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mano Doro having to interfere. Nechifor Secoşan charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nechifor Secoşan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nechifor Secoşan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Denis Oprescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Mano Doro made a huge save. F.C BUCURESTI's Mano Doro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Jerrold in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, F.C BUCURESTI's Petre Bălașa got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, F.C BUCURESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Joldea came free, but Mano Doro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Gheorghe Mălin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in F.C BUCURESTI's zone, Pedro Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mano Doro came out of the goal and Pedro Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The GoalHunters supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GoalHunters would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
