Denis Oprescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Kociniewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Emil Kociniewski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the 15th minute of play forced GoalHunters's goalkeeper Daniel Jienescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute of the match, Fabian Joldea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emil Kociniewski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daniel Jienescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucian Baldovinescu's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Universitatea cluj's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fabian Joldea 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Emil Kociniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Joldea in the 27th minute of play. Emil Kociniewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Gaúcho in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Universitatea cluj's goalkeeper Emil Kociniewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Oprescu. Daniel Jienescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Niță in the 37th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Oprescu was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustin Niță got free with Daniel Jienescu in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Universitatea cluj's Rareș Trif was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Jienescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, GoalHunters's Eugen Croitoru got a free kick in the 60th minute. Iustin Niță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Daniel Jienescu made a huge save. Daniel Jienescu made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when 程泉延 sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Joldea in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Kociniewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Thibaud Vranckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes, Denis Oprescu made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Universitatea cluj's Emil Kociniewski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Universitatea cluj's Emil Kociniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Joldea in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GoalHunters had won after a very even match.
