Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Naeni's Moise Zbârciog started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Ionuț Panțuru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gheorghe Gherasim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gheorghe Gherasim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Panțuru in the 8th minute of the match. Ionuț Panțuru scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gheorghe Gherasim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Naeni's zone, Ionuț Panțuru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gheorghe Gherasim came out of the goal and Ionuț Panțuru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Club Infinity Bacau booed when Naeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Zbughină didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Club Infinity Bacau's Damian Honcioiu got control of the ball when Costel Colin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Club Infinity Bacau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Valeca to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Pacurar in the 23rd minute of play forced Naeni's goalkeeper Gheorghe Gherasim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Augustin Rusu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naeni's Gheorghe Gherasim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Pacurar in the 27th minute of play forced Naeni's goalkeeper Gheorghe Gherasim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Ionuț Panțuru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Gherasim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes, Alfredo Larizza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Infinity Bacau and the Naeni players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ionuț Panțuru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gheorghe Gherasim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Naeni players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Infinity Bacau were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ionuț Panțuru to strike the kick off in the second half. Gheorghe Gherasim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Enache in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes Naeni's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Traian Melinte who took care of the corner kick. Gheorghe Gherasim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Pacurar in the 56th minute. Gheorghe Gherasim was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Ionuț Panțuru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ionuț Panțuru really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Gheorghe Gherasim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionuț Panțuru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Naeni's goalkeeper Gheorghe Gherasim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matei Pacurar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Colin in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Honcioiu saved Club Infinity Bacau from getting behind. If Ionuț Panțuru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Club Infinity Bacau's Augustin Rusu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Gheorghe Gherasim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matei Pacurar went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Gheorghe Gherasim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionuț Panțuru's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The audience was convinced that Costel Colin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Honcioiu was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Ionuț Panțuru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gheorghe Gherasim. The goal made the score 0-7. Matei Pacurar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Club Infinity Bacau's Damian Honcioiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Zbârciog in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Club Infinity Bacau getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Traian Melinte hit a great ball. Gheorghe Gherasim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Valeca, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Club Infinity Bacau's Augustin Rusu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augustin Rusu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Naeni fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Infinity Bacau were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
