Spectators: 7759 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 159) Scrioastea's Stelian Floreanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, S.C. Zulmde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Dumitru to maneuver through the defense. Cazimir Belu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Gâțea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Șerban Giosu took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cazimir Belu. Cazimir Belu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Floreanu in the 14th minute of play forced S.C. Zulmde's goalkeeper Augustin Vâlceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cazimir Belu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iurie Săndoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Șerban Giosu in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cazimir Belu saved Scrioastea from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Șerban Giosu managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Zulmde's supporters rose to their feet, but Șerban Giosu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Belu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iurie Săndoi scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cazimir Belu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Șerban Giosu put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cazimir Belu. 31 minutes into the game, Iurie Săndoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Cazimir Belu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Iurie Săndoi made a precise shot to the right of Cazimir Belu. Scrioastea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. After 44 minutes of play, S.C. Zulmde's Damian Caba made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cazimir Belu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Șerban Giosu to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Iurie Săndoi took a quick shot and it went in 1-10 without a chance for Cazimir Belu to make any attempt to save it. If Șerban Giosu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Iurie Săndoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iurie Săndois short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Cazimir Belu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Scrioastea's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Aurel Tobă scored to the left of an out of position Cazimir Belu, making the score, 1-11. In the 71st minute, Damian Caba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Zulmde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-12. Cazimir Belu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iurie Săndoi in the 74th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Aurel Tobă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Zulmde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurel Tobă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Caba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cazimir Belu having to make a save. Damian Caba struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Cazimir Belu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C. Zulmde. In the 79th minute, Aurel Tobă fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cazimir Belu, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iurie Săndoi got free with Cazimir Belu in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurel Tobă in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cazimir Belu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Scrioastea's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iurie Săndoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 1-14 when Aurel Tobă sped through Scrioastea's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cazimir Belu. Aurel Tobă might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cazimir Belu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurel Tobă ran back to his position shaking his head. Cazimir Belu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Dumitru Gâțea sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded S.C. Zulmde left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Scrioastea.
