Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 105) Lupii Turbati's Francisco Netto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, AC Juneliada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichifor Costandin to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gheorghe Gherasim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gigi Kent might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gheorghe Gherasim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigi Kent ran back to his position shaking his head. Lupii Turbati's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dinu Angheluță in the 33rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Dinu Angheluță got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gheorghe Gherasim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gheorghe Gherasim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Netto in the 35th minute of play. If Costel Colin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petre Dorlea hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Victor Mihele charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Mihele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, AC Juneliada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Mihele to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play, AC Juneliada's Moise Zbârciog made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gheorghe Gherasim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Netto in the 73rd minute of play. When Petruț Bobocea fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Juneliada's protests and gave Petruț Bobocea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lupii Turbati booed when AC Juneliada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petruț Bobocea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Gherasim having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Francisco Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gheorghe Gherasim. AC Juneliada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Gigi Kent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
