Spectators: 7989 (Terracing: 5993, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Denis Cutieru took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Geamănu in the 4th minute of play forced Ajax Academy's goalkeeper Cazimir Papaiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ognyan Peshev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cazimir Papaiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Ekelund in the 7th minute of the match. Cazimir Papaiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Ekelund in the 14th minute of play. FC ALEX JR's Ognyan Peshev got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ognyan Peshev in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cazimir Papaiani saved Ajax Academy from getting behind. The FC ALEX JR fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when FC ALEX JR's Ognyan Peshev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of FC ALEX JR booed when Ajax Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Buricea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cazimir Papaiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odysseas Kakarnakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC ALEX JR's Sorin Horațiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save FC ALEX JR from getting a goal against them. Ognyan Peshev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cazimir Papaiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Cutieru charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denis Cutieru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 47 minutes into the game, Ognyan Peshev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cazimir Papaiani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Ognyan Peshev made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Ognyan Peshev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC ALEX JR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Ognyan Peshev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ajax Academy's zone, Ognyan Peshev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cazimir Papaiani came out of the goal and Ognyan Peshev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cazimir Papaiani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ognyan Peshev went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Cazimir Papaiani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ognyan Peshev in the 69th minute. FC ALEX JR were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Ajax Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Odysseas Kakarnakis took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Cutieru in the 73rd minute of play forced FC ALEX JR's goalkeeper Sorin Horațiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sorin Horațiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Cutieru, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th match minute, Ajax Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Ghionescu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Ognyan Peshev could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Cazimir Papaiani however easily saved by the left post. FC ALEX JR's Sorin Horațiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Gagiu in the 87th minute of play. Anton Gagiu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Gigel Ghionescu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ognyan Peshev managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ALEX JR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ognyan Peshev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Papaiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cazimir Papaiani was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Ognyan Peshev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ognyan Peshev really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. In the 97th minute Maxim Cosoroabă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Horațiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC ALEX JR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
