The audience thought a goal was coming when Ognyan Peshev got free with Eduard Brădean in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, David Ekelund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eduard Brădean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lazaro Lillo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Luncani's goalkeeper Eduard Brădean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC ALEX JR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Odysseas Kakarnakis in the 26th minute. The corner led to FC ALEX JR's Birger Gunnarsson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. FC ALEX JR's Sorin Horațiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Oniga in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match, David Ekelund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eduard Brădean saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 32nd minute, David Ekelund made a precise shot to the right of Eduard Brădean. FC Luncani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, FC Luncani's goal looked a bit too open when David Ekelund came free, but Eduard Brădean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Oniga was the one to do the kick off. David Ekelund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Brădean having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Sebastian Oniga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sorin Horațiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Cristi Geamănu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eduard Brădean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sorin Horațiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Albeanu in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, FC ALEX JR's goalkeeper Sorin Horațiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Oniga. In the 75th minute Ognyan Peshev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Brădean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorin Horațiu made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Viorel Iacob sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute, David Ekelund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC ALEX JR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. FC ALEX JR were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after FC Luncani's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Odysseas Kakarnakis took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Birger Gunnarsson to score against Eduard Brădean in FC Luncani's goal. 4-1 after 82 minutes. After a rather tough play, FC Luncani's Viorel Iacob got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 88 played minutes, FC ALEX JR's Odysseas Kakarnakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduard Brădean came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC ALEX JR reached it. Sorin Horațiu made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Sebastian Oniga sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC ALEX JR booed when FC Luncani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lazaro Lillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Odysseas Kakarnakis, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 94th minute of the match Mugurel Ţăranu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sorin Horațiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th minute Ognyan Peshev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Brădean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC ALEX JR were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Luncani for a fine match.
