Ajax Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florin Cumpan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Leontin Petrulean scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cazimir Papaiani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cazimir Papaiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Petrulean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ajax Academy's Gigel Ghionescu got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sol Crowther in the 13th minute of play forced Ajax Academy's goalkeeper Cazimir Papaiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the match AFC Prunis MM got a corner. Ajax Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sol Crowther ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sol Crowther almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ajax Academy's Cazimir Papaiani did a great save. In the 16th minute Leontin Petrulean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Papaiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Florin Cumpan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cazimir Papaiani. Romeo Buricea kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of AFC Prunis MM booed when Ajax Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Proca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florin Cumpan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes AFC Prunis MM got a freekick which was hit by George Elenescu. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Prunis MM's Gigi Pacurar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cazimir Papaiani. That made the score 0-4 after 56 minutes of play. Pavel Oltean hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes AFC Prunis MM got a freekick which was hit by Florin Cumpan. Anton Gagiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apa Panter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Gagiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Ajax Academy's Cazimir Papaiani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ajax Academy from getting a goal against them. Cazimir Papaiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Cumpan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Romeo Buricea lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. AFC Prunis MM made a substitution. Sergiu Urdea replaced Petrică Ciocâlteu. In the 79th minute, one of Ajax Academy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ajax Academy. When the match had been going on for 82 minutes, AFC Prunis MM's Sol Crowther got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cazimir Papaiani. After having played for 85 minutes, Florin Cumpan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Prunis MM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Cumpan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, George Elenescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, Ajax Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Gagiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Florin Cumpan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the final whistle sounded AFC Prunis MM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ajax Academy.
