The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Milosz Gabis succeeded in the game's 2nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Otelul Darmanesti's Vladimir Lenin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basarab Baltian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 11 minutes, Vladimir Lenin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otelul Darmanesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Lenin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute of the match, Milosz Gabis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Basarab Baltian saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 15th minute, Dale Fowler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Basarab Baltian. The goal made the score 3-0. Basarab Baltian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Lenin in the 18th minute of play. Manole Brănescu hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Basarab Baltian stood somewhat misplaced when Vladimir Lenin came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Francisc Tăgorean kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, Otelul Darmanesti's Vladimir Lenin made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basarab Baltian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basarab Baltian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Gabis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute of the match Otelul Darmanesti got a corner. FC Bora Bora's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gheorghe Şelaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Dennis Berardinelli managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 33 minutes into the game, Vladimir Lenin lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Basarab Baltian. In the 36th minute, Vladimir Lenin made a precise shot to the right of Basarab Baltian. FC Bora Bora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. FC Bora Bora's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Vladimir Lenin scored to the left of an out of position Basarab Baltian, making the score, 8-0. With a little luck, FC Bora Bora's Basarab Baltian got control of the ball when Vladimir Lenin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otelul Darmanesti's Gheorghe Şelaru shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Basarab Baltian but with some difficulty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Killian Jones was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Lenin in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basarab Baltian saved FC Bora Bora from getting behind. Basarab Baltian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Lenin's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Lenin in the 60th minute of play forced FC Bora Bora's goalkeeper Basarab Baltian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Vladimir Lenin made a precise shot to the right of Basarab Baltian. FC Bora Bora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Dale Fowler struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Basarab Baltian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otelul Darmanesti. The Otelul Darmanesti fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Otelul Darmanesti's Vladimir Lenin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Basarab Baltian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Gabis in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Milosz Gabis notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of FC Bora Bora's Basarab Baltian. Basarab Baltian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Basarab Baltian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Lenin's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Basarab Baltian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Berardinelli went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. FC Bora Bora's Basarab Baltian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Lenin in the 77th minute of play. Ive Colpaert kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Dennis Berardinelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basarab Baltian. FC Bora Bora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Berardinelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0. In the 89th minute, Dennis Berardinelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Otelul Darmanesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. Milosz Gabis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basarab Baltian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Berardinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Otelul Darmanesti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
