After 13 minutes FCM GAGU GAGU's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gheorghe Şelaru who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Dale Fowler advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 14th minute. 22 minutes into the match, FCM GAGU GAGU's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Gabis came free, but Olov Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codruț Curăreanu hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Olov Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Gabis, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Celso Tozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Berardinelli in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olov Eklund saved FCM GAGU GAGU from getting behind. In the 33rd of the match, Milosz Gabis tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Olov Eklund got in the way and made a wonderful save. Rodrigo Benito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Vladimir Lenin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Olov Eklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vladimir Lenin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Olov Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otelul Darmanesti. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimir Lenin to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Vladimir Lenin put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Olov Eklund. But to his dismay, Vladimir Lenin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Vladimir Lenin sped through FCM GAGU GAGU's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olov Eklund. After 81 minutes of play, Otelul Darmanesti's Dennis Berardinelli made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Eklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85thth minute of the game Dennis Berardinelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCM GAGU GAGU's Olov Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Lenin in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olov Eklund saved FCM GAGU GAGU from getting behind. Dennis Berardinelli hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Olov Eklund came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Otelul Darmanesti's Vladimir Lenin. But to his dismay, Vladimir Lenin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 93rdth minute of the game Vladimir Lenin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCM GAGU GAGU's Olov Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 95 minutes FCM GAGU GAGU's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gheorghe Şelaru who took care of the corner kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Otelul Darmanesti fully deserved thier win.
