In the 24thth minute of the game Petru Bărcăuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caciulesti's Cornel Banu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petru Bărcăuan in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornel Banu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Petru Bărcăuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Avantul Hirlau's Cornel Banu threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Petru Bărcăuan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petrică Leluțiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Janusz Grabski kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Maxim Nae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petrică Leluțiu's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Avantul Hirlau's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Leluțiu came free, but Maxim Nae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caciulesti's Irinel Ghioane got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
