The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisc Mihăescu got free with Aurelian Băncilă in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s Aurelian Băncilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Buzgar in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charilaos Triantafyllou in the 7th minute of play forced Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s goalkeeper Aurelian Băncilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s Aurelian Băncilă got control of the ball when Charilaos Triantafyllou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valeriu Buzgar might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelian Băncilă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valeriu Buzgar ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Doxa Beregsau Mare's Bert Van Boxstael slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelian Băncilă. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Firefighter BT ★Dac★ defense, Gencalp Özcebe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelian Băncilă. The Firefighter BT ★Dac★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelian Băncilă should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Firefighter BT ★Dac★ booed when Doxa Beregsau Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charilaos Triantafyllou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Charilaos Triantafyllou reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aurelian Băncilă. The goal made the score 3-0. A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Tudor Acatincăi with Bert Van Boxstael as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The Doxa Beregsau Mare fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Doxa Beregsau Mare's Charilaos Triantafyllou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aurelian Băncilă came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Doxa Beregsau Mare's Valeriu Buzgar. But to his dismay, Valeriu Buzgar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. A collision led to Firefighter BT ★Dac★ getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Octav Creangă hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Bert Van Boxstael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charilaos Triantafyllou came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aurelian Băncilă could save by the left post. After 43 minutes of play, Doxa Beregsau Mare's Charilaos Triantafyllou made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelian Băncilă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo Stephen hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

In the 50thth minute of the game Charilaos Triantafyllou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s Aurelian Băncilă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Charilaos Triantafyllou put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aurelian Băncilă. After a defensive mix-up in Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s zone, Petru Baciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelian Băncilă came out of the goal and Petru Baciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelian Băncilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charilaos Triantafyllou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Petru Baciu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Aurelian Băncilă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Buzgar in the 64th minute of play forced Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s goalkeeper Aurelian Băncilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Gencalp Özcebe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelian Băncilă. Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gencalp Özcebe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Aurelian Băncilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencalp Özcebe in the 70th minute of play. After some careless play in the Firefighter BT ★Dac★ defense, Charilaos Triantafyllou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelian Băncilă. The Firefighter BT ★Dac★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelian Băncilă should have stopped the shot. Aurelian Băncilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Buzgar, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 76th match minute, Firefighter BT ★Dac★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Popoacă to maneuver through the defense. Charilaos Triantafyllou scored 11-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelian Băncilă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Valeriu Buzgar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelian Băncilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Buzgar in the 83rd minute of the match. Aurelian Băncilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Buzgar, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Petru Baciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gencalp Özcebe during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Doxa Beregsau Mare got a freekick which was hit by Gencalp Özcebe. After 95 minutes, Gigel Grămescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Firefighter BT ★Dac★ and the Doxa Beregsau Mare players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Doxa Beregsau Mare booed when Firefighter BT ★Dac★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Grămescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doxa Beregsau Mare walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
